Craigslist Scams

Craigslist Scams - WARNING HOW TO SPOT Craigslist Scams

With so much possiblity around the country when dealing with people on the internet you need to be aware of some of the Craigslist Scams you may come across in order to make wise decisions.

 Craigslist Scams - Misc. Purchases

You should always be aware of the authenticiy of items that you desire to purchase through craigslist. Make sure you make a list of questions and concerns that you have about the item. A legitimate seller will have no problem accomidating you on what you need in order to make a wise decision. Use your judgement on purchasing items on whether they are real or fake. Always go with a friend when meeting a Craigslist seller in order to safely make the exchange. There have been occurances of abductions and dangers happening when vulnerable buyers attend a meeting alone.\

 Craigslist Scams - Car Section

It used to be simple to be able to search and find a common car and just talk to a seller and meet up and pay cash for the vehicle you wanted and it would be as easy as that. Now days if you are selling a car beware of the buyer who wants to pay using a check or money order that could be false. Another way is the seller that cannot meet up but instead wants a middle man to arrange to pick up their car for them. This is a huge red flag for Craigslist Scams. LAstly, do not trust a buyer who wants you to wire money to a "safe" account such as an escrow account. What happens is that they will give you a fake confirmation email after the money is wired and tell them that the money will be there until the car is picked up. ONce the money is put into the what was thought to be a legit account, the buyer ends up losing their money and the car.

 Craigslist Scams - Job Section

Warning about some of Craigslist scams regarding anything wanting to involve personal funds or account information up front without the meeting or discussion of how you will be fully compensated and when. If you come across an ad and discuss with the employer about needing help recieving funds to their account and needing the assitance of your personal account, RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. These people will gain access to your funds until there is nothing left and when certain illegal activities may show up on the card you will be held responsible. Although there are many Craigslist Scams around that I have ran into and have had trouble with, I am a rish taker and sometimes things like this can happen. I have had a lot of experiences with Craigslist. Some good, some bad. I came across an ad on craigslist about an opportunity to work from home with a company called Motor Club of America. Of course I was skeptical, but I wanted to do more research. After countless days I began to see that this seemed like it had a possibility of being legit with it being around since 1926 and being accredited with the Better Business Buraeu. How could it be a scam? My research showed nothing but success with this company and the few that didn't have success only limited themselves. I was okay with this. So I came across a video that showed a simple 3 step process to navigating through all the ideas of making money online. AFter this I knew what I had to do. I immediately jumped on board and it changed my life. Not only my finances but my way of thinking about growing personally and financially. I haven't looked back since. If you want to see the same video I watched, click the button below to get access to the information that opened my eyes and changed my life.
